 Ofsted Inspection report July 2018

Bawdsey Primary was also inspected by Ofsted in July 2014, when the school was once again rated as Good, and Outstanding in pupils' attitude to learning & pupils behaviour. The full Ofsted report is available here.

Chair of Governors, said, "This Ofsted inspection recognises Bawdsey as an educational establishment of high quality, on a par with the best within the area, and sets the scene for Bawdsey becoming an Outstanding school."

The teaching groups at Bawdsey School are highly favourable with smaller than average classes.

As is typical for a village school, numbers fluctuate between 50 and 80 pupils. The pupil to teacher/ adult ratio is very favourable.

The 3 classes have been organised to facilitate comprehensive teaching of the National Curriculum ensuring that each child makes good progress through the programmes of study.

Parent View

Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of your child’s school, including:

 - how happy your child is at the school

 - how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour

If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we will ask how well the school supports them.

The questionnaire can be completed at any time - you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.

We will use your responses to help us plan inspections. The information you provide can:

- inform discussions inspectors have with school leaders during an inspection

 - help Ofsted decide when to inspect a school

In addition to this, we also publish the overall summary of the responses to Ofsted Parent View. This information is anonymised.
